Except for the pale blue giggle in the center of this canvas art this black form could almost be a hieroglyphic. It gives the feeling that a message is being sent and should be sent quickly. The wispy black brushstrokes on the edges imply haste and urgency. Even though this box in closed the trapezoid shape is unsettling. This wall art has a hint of subdued activity and will not bring serenity. It will best be exhibited in a corridor or along a walkway in an airport where the viewer will be moving. It will not ask for contemplation but it will inspire action. The smooth background color is neutral and calm but the stark black symbol is agitated and belies its simplicity.
